A recent inpatient bragged on the housekeeping staff, “They do an exceptional job… they don’t just sweep and mop, they clean every single thing in the room. I’ve never seen anything like it!” shared the grateful patient.

Steve Berkhouse recognized the Keane conversion team for their many hours upgrading the hospital information system.  Due to the efforts of this team, the system is in place and everyone has been trained. This is the first step in HVCH’s journey towards electronic health records.

Donna Tracy, Urgent Care, (second from left) was recognized by recent patients; “Warm, humorous, really lifted our spirits; nicest nurse ever, she was great with my daughter and myself;” shared the grateful patients.

Bob Schmidt recognized Lab and Employee Wellness.  The Laboratory and Wellness staff members are to be commended for their extra effort, during the recent open enrollment in health insurance. Lab worked with employees who needed to have their lab work done and  Danielle Arnett and Brittany Wilson did a great job of capturing data and giving feedback to the employees about their results.

The Surgery Dept. was recognized for a recent emergency surgery. Staffers who were not on call came in and all worked in harmony on a very difficult surgery, resulting in saving the patient’s life.
