2023 Annual Holiday Affair

The annual HVCH Holiday Affair is here! Join us on Tuesday, Dec. 5 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the main hospital building for A Candy Coated Christmas!

This year’s theme is all things sweet. Listen to carols while gathered around the Auxiliary Celebration of Lights tree and hear the names of those honored/memorialized. Journey through Bethlehem with a live nativity led by Ebenezer Baptist Church and Turkey Run Mennonite Church. Treat your family to dinner with treats from Shepherd of the Valley Church, Ebenezer Baptist Church, or the Chuck Wagon.

Stroll the halls with more than 25 vendors, selling all your favorite holiday treats and gift items.

  • Taci’s Sweet Treats bringing her sweet creations
  • Two Bernards Greenery and their beautiful pine decorations
  • T-shirts and crafts by Brooke Phillips
  • Doris Wilson from Hocking Hills UM serving up her amazing baked items to support the Lifewise program
  • Homemade crafts by Carolyn Pippen
  • Earrings by Sydney Ogle
  • It’s all things cookies by Creation Cookies
  • On the Rise – Come see their baked goodies!
  • B Joyous crafts is joining us this year with their items
  • Cherie Bakery is putting on a spread with artisan breads, pastries and cakes
  • Jennifer Sinkovitch selling wax melts, home décor, and body care products
  • The amazing blown glass items by Nick Delmatto will be available for holiday purchase
  • Logan Hocking County District Library will be on hand to show you more about our wonderful local library
  • Dog N Butterfly Melt Blends will be showing off their wax melts
  • Shelley Rohr with ornaments, garlands and wood crafts
  • Becky Devore will have available charcuterie boards, wreaths, repurposed items and more
  • Support the Hocking County Children’s Chorus booth

Entertainment schedule includes:

  • 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. – Live Nativity – Front of Hospital
  • 5:30 p.m. – Auxiliary Tree of Lights Celebration – Front of Hospital
  • 6:00 p.m. – Hocking County Children’s Chorus – Main Lobby
  • 6:30 p.m. – Logan Hocking School District Choirs – Main Lobby

New this year we added a holiday baking class with our Director of Nutrition Alicia Woods and holiday greenery class with Amy Douglas of Two Benards Greenery.

Santa will be on site with Mrs. Claus in the new Santa house for photos and giveaways. Free cotton candy will be given to all in attendance.

Enter your children or grandchildren ages 17 and under for a chance to win one of 10 bikes donated by the Logan Ohio Rotary Club for the event! Special thanks to the Logan Ohio Rotary for their generosity!
