A Message from the President & CEO

Welcome to Hocking Valley Community Hospital. HVCH has provided healthcare to this community for 55+ years, and we look forward to continuing to do so for years to come.

We are proud to serve members of our community as well as our out-of-town guests who find themselves in need of our services. Regardless of the situation, coming to a hospital can be an uncomfortable and sometimes scary experience, and we are dedicated to making sure we meet the needs of you as the patient as well as your family. We offer a variety of services to include Inpatient, Outpatient (Lab, Radiology, Cardiovascular and Pulmonary, Wound, Urology, and Pain Management), Emergency and Urgent Care, as well as office visits in Primary Care, Pediatrics, and Surgery.

We recognize those who live in rural areas tend to have more health issues, but know we are here to provide preventative, routine, and emergent care. Our love for working in a rural hospital allows us to develop relationships with our patients which is extremely important in the healing process.

So that we may provide access to the services you need, we continuously evaluate those services and look for opportunities to grow and add. We want to ensure there is no need for travel outside of our community to obtain exceptional healthcare. You can receive it right here in your own backyard. We have made significant investments in state-of-the-art equipment and technology in order to provide high quality healthcare.

Hocking Valley Community Hospital has been my work home since 1995. During this time I have seen many changes to our building, our culture, and our community. It has been a blessing to watch HVCH transform into a great place for employees to work, patients to receive care, and physicians to practice medicine. Our mission statement is to provide extraordinary care close to home – now, and into the future. You can trust that our team is doing just that.

Hocking Valley Community Hospital is leading the way to a healthier community.

Warm regards,

Stacey Gabriel
President & Chief Executive Officer
