Hocking Valley Community Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Roy Davis as the new Business Development Director.
Davis has been employed at Hocking Valley for more than 20 years and has served as the Director of Cardiovascular/Cardiopulmonary since 2000. He and his team have added many service lines including the sleep lab, employee wellness, EEGs, and Coumadin clinic.
Davis received training in the U.S. Army as a combat medic and then a respiratory therapist. He completed his Bachelor of Science at Ohio University and his MBA from Ohio Christian University.
He and his wife Sarah are the proud parents of four children: Lyndsie, who is an RN at Fairfield Medical Center; Taylor, a second-year medical school student at Ohio University; Casey, a freshman pre-professional major in biology at Ohio University; and Emily, a sixth grade volleyball star.
“We are extremely excited about this new role for Roy and for HVCH! As part of the Senior Leadership Team, Roy will primarily be responsible for achieving growth for hospital- and medical group-specific service lines that are in alignment with the strategic plan. He also will collaborate with the leaders of the Hocking Valley Medical Group,” Lauren Barber, HVCH Human Resources Director, said.
Davis will assume his new position on January 8, 2018.
