Hocking Valley Community Hospital recognizes staff

Hocking Valley Community Hospital celebrated National Hospital Week this week by recognizing the amazing staff who are the backbone of America’s healthcare system.

Festivities included soda bar, hobby horse race, employee recognition, retiree lunch, and other treats and games.

“During this Hospital Week 2025, we not only honor the incredible work that happens every day within these walls, but we take a moment to reflect on the people who make it all possible. The theme this year is one that speaks volumes: ‘We Are Healthcare’ – with an emphasis on ‘we.’ Everyone in our hospital community, plays a vital role in what healthcare truly means,” Stacey Gabriel, HVCH CEO, said.

Each of you being recognized today has played a role in shaping the culture, strength, and compassion of our hospital. You’ve been here through changes, challenges, and triumphs. You’ve held hands, offered hope, and gone above and beyond — day after day.”

You have been here through the quiet moments and the critical ones. You’ve adapted, supported, led, and healed. You’ve done far more than your job descriptions ever could describe. And through it all, you’ve reminded us that healthcare isn’t just what we do — it’s who we are.”
