HVCH recognizes employees for years of service

Group recognized for 30 plus years of service

Hocking Valley Community Hospital celebrated National Hospital Week by recognizing health care workers and the innovative ways they are supporting and connected to their community.

The week’s festivities included breakfast treats, employee recognition and retiree lunch, dunk tank fundraiser for the Foundation, Plinko game, hospital Olympics and other games.

“Healthcare is tough, but the employees at Hocking Valley Community Hospital come to work each day with a passion for taking care of others. They give of themselves to make a difference in the lives of their patients,” HVCH President & CEO Stacey Gabriel said.

“The pandemic has consumed our worlds, both professional and personal, for the past three years. “In every organization the people who show up every day are the greatest assets and the employees being recognized today have been showing up for many years.  We all know that healthcare is a tough industry but knowing that our patients and customers have so many staff members with this kind of longevity makes it all worthwhile.

The employees who have reached these milestones have devoted and committed to serving our community. Altogether, these employees have a combined 885 years of service to HVCH. That is absolutely amazing!” Gabriel concluded.
