From Jillian Kline, Outpatient Clinics Director
In honor of National IV Nurse Day, HVCH would like to recognize the staff of our Outpatient Infusion Clinic.
The Outpatient Infusion Clinic is open Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Patient appointments are in private, comfortable rooms with televisions. Patients are seen for a wide range of diagnoses which include: osteoporosis, infections, anemia, dehydration, and electrolyte imbalances. The infusion clinic requires a referral from the provider who is ordering the infusion therapy and also will manage the infusion plan of care for the patient. For patients in need of infusion therapy close to home, the infusion clinic number is 740-380-8275.
The strength and success of the infusion clinic lies in the staff working in the clinic. The nurses who care for our infusion patients are highly skilled in infusion therapy and go above and beyond for the patients in any way they can. Emily Martin, RN, Holly Gompf, RN, Jillian Stimmel, RN, and Sarah Kilbarger, RN, are the primary nurses who cover the infusion clinic, with Emily Martin being the full-time, primary RN. Each of these nurses provide exceptional care to the infusion patients and continually receive extremely positive patient feedback. We are very fortunate to have the team of nurses that we do providing care to our infusion patients.
