HVCH once again welcomes you to our annual outdoor holiday event from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on the hospital campus. There will be displays, vendors for all your holiday shopping, special entertainment, and the HVCH Auxiliary Celebration of Lights ceremony.

HOLIDAY BAKING CLASS:
At this year’s annual HVCH Holiday Affair, we are hosting a holiday baking class featuring visions of “sugar plums”! Limited spots available for a cost of $10 per person. You will make and take the following menu items: Dried Plum & Apple Salad; Plum Cinnamon Strusel Cake; and Sparkling Sugar Plum Mocktails! Preregistration is required. HOLIDAY GREENERY CLASS:
Join us for a holiday fresh pine swag class during this year’s annual HVCH Holiday Affair, and make your own pine door swag. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $15 per person. Two class times available during Holiday Affair held on 12/5/23: 5-6 p.m. or 6-7 p.m. Limitation of 12 registrants per class. Register soon as deadline is 11/17 to secure your place. CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS:
Recognize your loved one during the annual HVCH Auxiliary Celebration of Lights. Make a donation to the hospital in honor or memory of your loved one and their name will be recognized during the tree lighting ceremony, as well as on display by the special Celebration of Lights tree throughout the season for patients and guests to enjoy.
To ensure your honoree/memorial name is included, please submit your form by Wednesday, November 29.
Your gift will also make an important contribution to enhancing healthcare services at our hospital. We appreciate the support of our community for this special event.

It is heartwarming to see all the events and opportunities afforded the community by the Hospital. It is up to the community to support the facility. Those who complain about the facility should understand that it is almost unheard of for such a facility to exist in the U. S. West Virginia has 14 hospitals for the entire state!. Many throughout the United states have sucumbed to economic and political adversity. Nationwide as well as local lack of physicians, staffing, funding, and support have all been battles which little HVCH has bravely met and asserts to overcome. The county and surrounding areas are lucky to have a clean, contemporary, and well-kept facility. The community needs to rally round to show support, and this is one way to do so. Without a champion such as Barton Holl in sight, it is up to multiple people to support.
